Maren is a German-born, London-based yoga teacher who loves holding space in a way that opens up opportunity to meet yourself where you are and go on a journey within yourself in the spirit of acceptance and curiosity. Like marking a starting point on a map and then trusting that your breathing, movement, relaxation and mediation practice takes you to exactly where you need to be in any given moment.
When teaching Feetup, Maren’s motto is inwards and upwards. Arriving first with yourself and from that connected place connect and play with others - upside down and the right way round. So many possibilities! Her guitar and voice might make an appearance in savasana…
Maren teaches regular classes and workshops in London: multidimensional hatha yoga and restorative yoga as well as yoga during pregnancy and womb connection workshops for women. She is a birth doula and has trained in partner yoga. She also offers Thai yoga massage.
Maren co/created and taught the FeetUp Teacher Trainings in 2016 as well as pregnancy yoga modules for various teacher training programmes. She also holds week-long and long-weekend retreats in the UK and Europe.
