Back to the Source of Love
In this class we will focus on inversions and back bending.
It’s easy to get stuck in only one way of seeing things, holding on for years to feelings of resentment and anger. We may think it serves us in order to establish justice forever, but what we don’t realize is that we are limiting our freedom and happiness by holding on to the past. Magic is a shift in perception. Letting go is a step to freedom and creating space for new beginnings. In this Jivamukti Open class we will look at the world at a different angle going upside down and free our hearts of tension, inviting love and compassion.
Awareness in every action
In every Amrita Yoga asana class a theme is introduced to highlight one of Amma`s teachings.
This asana class is to inspire practitioners to let go of both the past and future in order to experience the present moment fully, in which it is possible to listen to the true Self with love and awareness.
Through a series of easy to follow, yet demanding, mainly standing and lying asanas, you will be guided to stay focused and present by practicing mindfulness in movement.
Yin Yoga – Pranayama – Devi Dance

We will explore and expose your acroyoga practice to two of the movement dogmas that lay the ground for The Copenhagen Acroyoga Style. Learn to make your practice: Shared and Grounded and from that we built meaningful and wonderful flows
Expect challenge. Expect clear perspectives. Unlearn. Rewire. Join the circle and own the moves.

Earth Extension
In this class our main focus will be balancing.
When we are pulled to the extremes too fast and too soon, we get out of our center. The rides of too high and too low, too much and too little, rajasic and tamasic deplete us of prana, life force. Buddha was teaching the middle way. Balancing the energies of yin and yang, feminine and masculine, sun and moon, ida and pingala is the goal of Hatha yoga. In every asana these energies are flowing through your body. In this class we will focus on balancing them, weather you are on one leg, hands or sits bones. Let’s balance it all out!

Finding joy in the simple things. Breaking free from tradition, walking off the mat, unwinding the core and using the wisdom of the Tao to do so.
Nina Rao learned traditional chants (bhajans) from her grandfather in a village in south India when she nine years old. The chants quietly stayed with her until she rediscovered chanting with Krishna Das in New York in 1996. For many years Nina has been Krishna Das' business manager and assistant, often touring with him playing cymbals and singing. In 2007, she recorded the track 'Nina Chalisa' on Krishna Das' CD "Flow of Grace " and in January 2013, she released her debut album, "Antarayaami - Knower of All Hearts”. The chant practice in this program with the chanting in the call-and-response format of the Divine Names, from the Indian tradition.
Nina will lead a line of mantra and the group chants the same line back in response – so this is a group practice. We will also chant the powerful 4—verse prayer called the Hanuman Chalisa. As with many practices, we chant to slow-down our minds and open our hearts by repetition and coming back to the practice as we let the inevitable thoughts pass through our minds like clouds in the sky. Nina’s chants are available on her CD, Antarayaami-Knower of All Hearts.
